Xiaomi Might launch Mi Mix White variant at CES

Xiaomi’s Mi Mix doesn’t need any introduction, but in case you have missed something Xiaomi launched Mi Mix along with Mi Note 2 at an event in China on Oct 25, 2016. It’s the best-looking phone launched till date. Mi Mix sports a bezel-less design with a 91.3% screen to body ratio.


Mi Mix has a beautiful 6.4 inch Full HD display and gets juice from a massive 4400 mAh battery. It runs on  Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.35GHz and is available in 128gigs/4gigs, 256gigs/6gigs variants. There is also 18K gold rim around the rear camera in the higher variant. It has USB Type-C reversible connectivity and is also equipped with  full-featured NFC. It was awarded ‘craziest design of the year’ by MKBHD.


Now Xiaomi is hinting towards launching the white variant of Mi Mix at CES that takes place every January in Las Vegas, why am I saying so? Let’s find it out.

Oct 25, 2016: Xiaomi launches Mi Mix along with Mi Note 2 in China. Mi Mix was launched only in Black color.

Oct 26, 2016: White Variant leaked for the first time in China (source :Android Headlines).


Nov 23, 2016: Xiaomi confirms its participation in CES 2017.



Dec 28, 2016: Xiaomi releases first official teaser “A Glimpse Into The Future”.



Jan 1, 2017: Xiaomi releases one more teaser “WBHLIATCEK“.



Jan 3, 2017: A post from MIUI twitter account says “It’s going to be an exciting Mix of tech breakthroughs”.



Teaser released on Jan 1 talks about black and white colors, while teaser released on Jan 3 hints towards Mix. Xiaomi has already launched the Black Ceramic Variant of Mi Mix, so Xiaomi might launch White Ceramic Mi Mix at CES.
